Shao Hsing Hua Tiao Chiew is a well-known traditionally speciality and the oldest brewed wines in China. It is brewed from pure grains and containing low alcohol.
One of the eight famous wines in China, it is the crown of rice wine. It is brewed with the finest glutinous rice and Jianhu water. It has high nutritional value, mellow and delicious, rich in taste, and more fragrant as it ages. Adding a small amount of Shaoxing Huadiao Wine during cooking can remove fishy seasoning, polish and add freshness, and make the dishes beautiful in color, fragrance and taste.
As a drink, it is effective in improving blood circulation, complexion and appetite. In the kitchen, it is used for expelling fishy smell and for seasoning.
